News: California Beer Fest & July Shows!

Hey Honey Bees & Refugees,
Well summer has really kicked in for us as we enjoyed performing three great shows last week in El Dorado Hills, San Francisco and Santa Rosa.  Thanks to all the great crowds at each of them.  We had a blast!

The fun continues THIS Saturday, 6/29, as we rock some Petty tunes for the California Beer Festival at Stafford Lake Park in Novato along with other local favorites: Monophonics & Metal Shop.  Tickets include mouthwatering BBQ, and over 70 craft beers.

Our 5th Annual “BBQ on the lawn” at Rancho Nicasio, Sunday 7/21!   We return to Park Street Art & Wine Fest in Alameda, Saturday 7/27!

NEWS:
We are taking a short break for the 1st few weeks of July, (until Rancho Nicasio on 7/21) but several members of PT will be playing in other great bands during the break: 
REVOLVER: (60’s Music w/Dan Durkin on Drums & Vocals) 6/28 at Napa City Nights and 7/13 for the Beatles Concert at Creek Park in San Anselmo (6PM).
SOUL JAH FAMILY BAND: (Classic Reggae ala Marley & more w/ Monroe & family) Italian Street Fest in San Rafael 6/30 and Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley on 7/5!
AZ/DZ: (AC/DC Tribute w/Bagel & Monroe) Performing Friday 7/12 at PERI’S in Fairfax w/ SABBATH LIVES!

News: THIS Friday at SLIM’S + El Dorado Hills & Santa Rosa!

We had a great time making our debut at Vinnie’s in Concord last Friday to a packed house of rowdy Petty fans!  It was a wild night, thank you!  We look forward to being back there soon.
 
THIS WEEK we have three great shows!
 
THURSDAY, 6/20, we’ll be at the Steven Young Amphitheater in the El Dorado Hills Town Center for a FREE concert.  Bring your lawn chairs early to stake a spot, grab a cool drink from the outdoor bar and get ready to dance all evening (2 sets).
 
THIS FRIDAY 6/21, AT SLIM’S:   We make our headline debut at this legendary San Francisco music venue so please come out to support us and make it a BIG success.  Also on the bill are Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers (ZZ Top Tribute) and SF’s The Gravel Spreaders (An acoustic bluegrass tribute to all your favorite heavy metal & hard rock songs…They’re awesome so come early to catch ‘em).
 
 
SATURDAY 6/22, we return for the 5th year in a row to Montgomery Village in Santa Rosa for 97.7 The River’s Summer Concert Series!  It’s a FREE show and ALL Ages are welcome.   We will be playing a couple of sets from 12-3PM.

Thanks to all of you who joined us at the Rio Nido Roadhouse this past weekend.  It was a blast and we are already looking forward to being back again next summer.
 
EAST BAY PEEPS!  This Friday, 6/14 we make our debut at Vinnie’s in Concord.  Kicking off the show will be our very special guests: Pretending (A great tribute to the Pretenders).  Tickets for this show are only $12 at the door!  JOIN US.

News: JUNE SHOWS: Rio Nido, Concord, SF, & More!

Hey Everyone,
First off, BIG thanks to all of you who helped us hit our 5th consecutive sold out show at Sweetwater Music Hall this past weekend.  We were fired up and the crowd appeared to be as pumped as we were about it.  We also added in some tunes we hadn’t played in quite awhile: “Woman in Love”, “Wildflowers” and “Swingin'”.

The band has certainly hit its stride and just in time for a great series of June shows.  We start things off this Saturday, 6/8,  as we head up to the Russian River to kick off our summer concert schedule at Rio Nido Roadhouse.  Come enjoy a great outdoor show, featuring two great sets of the best Petty songs, some delicious BBQ and tasty summer “spirits”.  Here’s “Breakdown” recorded live from last year’s show.

    Just a reminder that this Friday 5/31, we return to Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley for a full evening of the best Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers songs (two sets).  This venue is among the very best in the entire Bay Area with great food, drinks and a top notch sound system.  It’s a great place to hear music and dance!
