News: THIS WEEKEND – Friday in Belmont and Sunday in San Rafael!

Hey Refugees and Honey Bees,

Things are getting hot around here!  And it ain’t just the weather we are talking about… our band has been smokin’ lately and really it’s all because of YOU!  Turnouts at our last several shows have been fantastic and we really appreciate it!

We were very pleased to celebrate “Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers week” here in the Bay Area with two great shows of our own this past week in Santa Rosa at Chrome Lotus (great show with our friends American Drag) and another wild and crazy performance at the 2010 Monterey Beer Festival, followed by the one and only Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers (the real deal) playing a totally killer show at the Oakland Arena which a few of us were lucky enough to attend.  Very inspiring indeed!

We got some great shows coming up as we enter our busy summer season starting with this weekend… FRIDAY, we will be in Belmont at ST. JAMES GATE IRISH PUB.  Our 1st show there in quite some time and first with our newer line-up. We will play 3 sets starting at 9:30P.

ON SUNDAY we will be performing at Fifth Ave & A Street in downtown San Rafael for the Youth In Arts 17th Annual Italian Street Painting Festival on the main stage. This show is FREE and all ages are welcome so bring the whole family and paint the town!  Our set is scheduled to start at 3PM and we will perform a 90 minute set.

Joining us again on this weekend of shows will be the amazing Eric Levy filling in on keyboards for PT keys player Mike Emerson.
